    • Try out this video if your kids are still asking you, “What is a homophone?” Sometimes a video explanation with visual and auditory cues may help your child understand the concept. I may be a bit biased in posting this particular video because I actually grew up in Fairfax County! This is a great video though for covering the homophones to, too, and two.
  2. The Vowel Song: Long and Short Vowel Sounds by Scratch Garden
    • This short song goes through the most common long and short vowel sounds of all the vowels.
